Lovely views from the balcony, kids loved the pool. Walkable into the centre (10 mins) and nearest restaurant 5 mins away. Parking could be tricky, balcony was quite small for 4 people

Aphrodite’s Greka Ionian Suites

We had a lovely time at Greka Ionian Suites. Aphrodite couldn’t have been more helpful and gave us loads of information about best beaches, restaurants etc. Our apartment was comfortable, very well designed, with lots of storage space and a balcony overlooking the sea. We’re looking forward to going back already!

Fantastic stay!!!

Fantastic stay at Ionian Greka Suites! Afroditi is so welcoming and a brilliant host. The room was clean and very comfortable, with air conditioning. Agia Efimia is beautiful and one of the best places to stay on the island. We will definitely be returning!

In a quiet place, despite the main road being just 5 metres away. Limited cooking facilities but clean and tidy and only 5 minutes from a decent choice of restaurants. Lovely swimming pool, all in all good value, but would have preferred a 1st floor apartment with balcony.

Our stay here was adequate. Being on an island means you’re going to go without certain comforts, but we’d hoped for the price of this room there’d at least be comfortable beds. This was not the case. We paid extra for the “sea or pool view”, which was a waste of money since these are two very different things. Our view was eye-level with the second floor pool, which meant people sunbathing at the pool could stare down into our balcony. We wouldn’t stay here again, but if you are considering doing so, I’d check with the property what room type you are paying for. Agia Effimia is definitely the place you want to be in Kefalonia though! Best beaches we went to, and all within walking distance of any of these hotels.

Great stay at Greka

We had a great stay. Nice, big room which is cleaned daily, large shower, airconditioning in both living and bed room. Nice pool, good location in a nice little town with some good tavernas, and good for exploring the northern part of the island. Owner is very friendly and helpful.

Great stay

Afroditi the owner is a lovely lady, very helpful with information . The room was cleaned regularly with the sheets & towels changed. it also has a beautiful pool. Ideal location for exploring the island & has beautiful views of the bay. We really enjoyed our stay & Afroditi was always there to help with anything you need.

Best spot to base yourself in Kefalonia

Very comfortable stay, Afroditi is an amazing host, so friendly & generous with her time & suggestions. The best food I've had on the island was in Efimia!! Perfect location, walking everywhere around the local harbour, cafes, restaurants, market & pharmacy. Great base to drive to all the local attractions for the day (Day trips in Asos or Antisami & visit to Melessani Cave & an abandoned Village!) then back to the hotel to relax in the harbour for dinner.

Needs some adjustments but was a fair price

We selected this place for one night as we were arriving from another island. The location was great, close to mini-markets, restaurants, Sami port, etc. We did not have the opportunity to enjoy any of the amenities (e.g. pool) nor the appliances, so we are not comment on this. We also did not interacted with the reception, as it was closed when we arrived (9 pm) and closed when we left (9am next day). However there was a phone number at the door and luckily we had a local simcard so we were able to communicate with someone that in less than 10min arrived with the keys. The room was OK and seems to be under some upgrading/renovation. The washroom was clean but had a very bad smell, I guess coming from the pipes. The bedroom was clean but the mattress was uncomfortable. The towels were very rough and definitely need to be replaced. The comments are based on our experience, and take in consideration we stayed at the property for 12h more or less. These "items to be fixed"/adjustments as very easy to be fixed, and I am positive that management will work on these to make Greka a great place to stay.

Alleen maar lof!

Wat een fijne tijd hebben we hier gehad. Warm ontvangen en veel informatie gekregen over de omgeving. Schone appartementen (werd elke dag schoon gemaakt) en een heerlijke douche. En wat een vriendelijke eigenaresse! Alleen maar lof!

Great friendly welcome and service

A lovely property very close to the beautiful harbour village including several lovely tavernas. Afroditi was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. In fact, as beautiful as the village is, the people are even more beautiful - they couldn’t be friendlier. The apartment had a comfy bed and was well-equipped. Great swimming pool and very close to everything. We had a wonderful holiday with Afroditi at Greka. Ps. Take beach towels!
