"Lovely stay for a week with my partner. The staff were really helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the dining experience, kinjutsu practice and massage, whilst the onsen added a relaxing space after a busy day of sightseeing! The hotel is located in the financial district so not as much going on in the weekend but more touristy spots easily accesible via taxi. "

"The Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu was wonderful. We only stayed one night but I would have loved to be there more. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, very proud of their ryokan. It is in a great Asakusa location for shopping, Senso-ji Temple, and Asakusa station and a great price. The women's bath had an amazing view of the Tokyo Sky Tree lit at night. We stayed in a. Traditional Japanese room and loved the experience. Highly recommend. "

"The traditional style of the building made for a very cool stay, the room was nice and felt spacious and the beds were comfortable to sleep on as well. I also loved the plants and neighborhood that surrounded the ryokan too. All made for a very comforting stay."

"Amazing value that includes top notch, and private, hot springs baths, and a delicious healthy japanese breakfast. The location is not the most convenient and be very careful going in and out of the parking area, it is a blind exit and cars are driving by quickly."
