"Large room central to our destination. Good facilities if you want to cook for yourself. The only problem was someone opposite our room set the fire alarms off and the hotel had to be evacuated until the fire brigade checked it to be safe. Car parking near by also."

"I like the secure lift, the clean room, the daily fresh towel provision, and the quiet room. The layout, though compact, was useful. A large person would have a hard time getting around the foot of the bed past the TV to get to the other side of the bed. I had a learning curve with the A/C but eventually figured it out sufficiently. The staff were helpful and friendly. The bar staff had a hard time keeping up with food and drink orders on a Saturday afternoon though it was not crowded. ...

"Stayed two nights. Hotel is well situated but is getting a bit outdated. Bathroom door was poorly repaired. Hotel is quite noisy, all sounds within the hotel seem to carry and the doors slamming was both heard and felt when lying in bed. Breakfast was just basic. First morning apparently no chef working so no hot options only continental. Second morning with a chef so we were able to order hot food. Partner ordered a full Scottish breakfast and was happy but I ordered salmon, poach eggs and...

"The location of this hotel is fantastic, and the staff were incredibly nice, proactive, and helpful—especially Dylan! Our family room on the first floor was a bit too small for a family of four, with very little natural light and no view. However, the bathroom was lovely and very clean. A great place to stay, though a larger room might be better for families."
