"The location of the Bear Necessities cottages is rural and quiet, yet close to town. Our cottage, though small, was clean and comfortable with a good shower. There is no air-conditioning, which is typical in Alaska. Heat was provided by a diesel heater. This was a little unusual, but we got used to it and it worked fine. No complaints. Would easily stay here again."

"We really enjoyed our stay. There is a great creek across the road, great for tranquil meditation. Full kitchen had a supply of spices & all the kitchen ware you need."

"I booked my trip months in advance. I never received an email or a phone call stating the reservation was canceled. I arrive and that’s when I find out it was canceled. I will never use the Hotel app again! Imagine your trip without any place to stay!"
