Just wow. Kendwa Rocks is absolutely the best. We arrived on the night of the full moon party which was superb, the staff is lovely and helpful, eager to teach basic words in Swahili as well. We had a traditional room, quite spaceous and clean. The pool is great, the beach stretches wider than any other hotels in the area. Sunsets are unbelievable to watch from the beach as well. The food selection is great too. One thing needs fixing and it's the bumpy "road" down to the hotel from the highway....

This is my 4th time back and I was very surprised to find that they have improved their guest services and added more rooms to the building. Madam Sofie looked after us really well and accommodated all our requests. We were given one of the new rooms that had just been completed which was lovely, it just needed a bit of shelving/cupboard space which probably hadn’t arrived yet. If you are looking for affordable accommodation right on the beach, this is the place to be in Kendwa.

This hotel is wonderfully clean, food is always plentiful and restocked and the staff are a credit to the hotel , they are super friendly and helpful. Drinks at the bar are wonderful. Regina in the Karibu restaurant is super efficient, helpful and friendly. Pools are lovely and clean and there are plenty SunBeds. The only small fault is that people go to the inside bars without tee shirts and maybe the dress code should be enforced more in the restaurants. All in all a wonderful stay in...

We really looked forward to staying at the Zanzibar Queen given other reviews. It didnt disappoint. Fantastic location in beautifully kept grounds. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The pool area was clean and enticing. There was also boules, volleyball and badminton available to keep the body exercised. As well as table tennis and darts. The restaurant was superb. Ingredients and dishes were varied and akin to fine dining. Resort felt very private although effectively right on the beach....
