Maisha was a beautiful hotel with friendly and kind staff. The breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. The beach bar had great food and drinks and we ate there every night. Would definitely stay here again.

Well trained and friendly staff, great management, friendly atmosphere. The two pool and the garden are amazing, tasty fresh breakfast. Comfortable room, hot tube in the terrace is the best idea in the whole island. Small hotel but way better than any big resorts in the island

We had an amazing stay at Aluna. It's a perfect location if you're looking for somewhere a bit quieter and more relaxing in Nungwi, but still very walkable along the beach to bars and restaurants. The room was a great size, comfortable and good air conditioning, and the food at both the hotel restaurant and the beach club was exceptional. Plus the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming too. Highly recommend staying here!

Just perfect

The place is so peaceful and so beautiful. The restaurant on the beach was clearly one of the best tried in Zanzibar. Special mention for the staff, that was the kindest people we meet. Everyone was so nice. I totally recommend the hotel !

I loved my stay at Aluna Nungwi. The staff was so helpful, welcoming and amazing. The room and pool was perfect for relaxing. The food was great- both at the restaurant at the hotel and the one on the beach. Just be aware the beach near the hotel isn’t the best but you can arrange a Tuk tuk to Nungwi. For me I loved just hanging by the pool and getting massages (which were the best!)

Aluna is a beautiful property surrounded by lush tropical plants and trees. With 2 pools and ample sunbeds it was a very relaxing stay for us. Our lodge type room was lovely but we would have liked a fridge in the room. The beach was just a short walk away but the road outside the hotel that lead to the beach bar could have been better with some lighting. The breakfast was very nice but we thought the days when it was buffet style rather than a la carte was a much better idea. We had a massage during our stay which was very good and great value for money. All the staff were excellent and so helpful. We would definitely recommend Aluna.

If there could be a way to stop that. Nungwi Beach (and Zanzibar) actually would be a really nice place to visit. We felt harassed and would not recommend Nungwi Beach to anyone. We wanted to stay at the quiet end of Nungwi Beach. We felt we were constantly approached. More on the quite side than on the main beach.

Sehr schöne "Boutique-Hotel" Anlage mit großen Zimmern mit vielen Fenstern ... vom Balkon hatten wir einen schönen Blick in den tropischen Garten und auf den zweiten Pool. Zum Hotel gehört auch in 100m Entfernung ein Restaurant direkt am Strand, wo wir gerne für das Abendbier den Tag ausklingen ließen. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich. Die Lage ist toll, da in einem sehr ruhigen Teil von Nungwi gelegen.

Chambre très spacieuse, donnant sur la 2e piscine, au calme. Resto sur la plage à 5min à pieds. Climatisation, ventilateur de plafond, moustiquaires, plateau de bienvenue, coffre et sèche-cheveux dans la chambre. Pas de porte entre salle de bain et chambre, simple rideau. Baie vitrée et fenêtres difficiles à manipuler, le bois travaille... De la terrasse on a vue sur les autres, peu d intimité Personnel souriant et serviable. Nous ont organisé transfert vers l'aéroport, 50€ et conservé nos bagages jusqu'à notre départ tardif, nous permettant de profiter de la dernière journée. Petit déjeuner complet. Nombreuses coupures de courant indépendantes de l'hôtel, peu de rangements :2étagères et 5cintres
