"The hotel is extremely filthy. The hot water wasn’t working on the day of stay. Room was a mess. Hotel is falling apart. The bath tub looked nasty. I wouldn’t stay at this hotel if someone paid me to. Beds were disgusting. The carpet looked worse than a shelter home. And all the reviews that say this is a top notch hotel are false. You are better off staying on the street than this hotel."

"We stayed to go to a wedding at the Manor over the road. (Really handy to be able to walk to that). Unfortunately we didn't get to use the pub except for breakfast in the morning which was really good, but the pub looked good. Rooms were clean and cosy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice sandwich shop/deli 2 doors down. Some early morning plane noise (under the flight path to Birmingham airport?), so if you are a light sleeper it might be worth bringing earplugs. Nice place...

"The tv Ariel didn’t work , tiny poorly maintained room"

"Great all-round.. only issue as its a pub our room was over the main pub so was noisy until 11pm when everyone left. After that it was great. Great breakfast to. Highly recommend."

"Love the location. Staff that I met were v friendly. The food was excellent and well worth the stay. The room was comfortable and pleased to see coffee bags rather than the disgusting tubes of Nescafe which most hotels do. There were a couple pf things which werent so good but it wouldnt stop me staying again. In the evening the water took a while to warm up which was ok however in the morning it didnt at all. I had a wet shave waiting for it to heat up so shave was in cold water and shower was...

"The room was clean , but the mattress was a little uncomfortable. But I enjoyed my stay"

"Staff were great! Room was a terrific size and the bathroom was stellar. Parking was free. There was no breakfast, but the pub downstairs had games and entertainment. It was summer and quite hot so the windows had to be open resulting in a few spiders making their way in, but that would be expected honestly. I would absolutely stay here again!"

"Was very nice"
