"The Walnut in is a charming little hotel off I40 that my dog and I stopped at for a quick overnight that ended conning two nights. It was wonderful. So clean, cute, the staff were amazing and there was the best little diner right next door! Casino across the way but we didn’t go over! The price was fantastic and really I can’t say more wonderful things about it! 10/10 for me!"

"Towels were not in the room when we entered it, we had to return to the front desk to get them. Many flies in the room and outside the room. Breakfast on Friday morning was about 1 hour late due to an employee issue. But overall our stay was acceptable for the price. Would probably stay there again."

"The check in started bad the room smelled like pee we rented two nights but left the first night the poop was dirty had bugs floating in it asked for a refund for the second night and was in formed I stayed the first night so there's no refund very bad experience"

"The rooms are not what shown on pictures. The properly is poorly maintained. The bathtub drain didn't properly drain, the ice bucket inside the room was filthy, the bed spread had stains on them, the ice machine did not work. The humidity smell was all over the hotel. Apparently there was housekeeping service daily, but out sheets were never changed (we were there for 4 days). Overall, an ok place to stay in a very ok town, but definitely not coming back."

"The room was spacious & served its purpose. Grounds were a little dirty. Wanted to do swimming in the pool but a bunch of sweaty workers consumed it with loud music (which is fine) just didn’t feel comfortable. Breakfast was good except the sausage did NOT taste like sausage.ewww! Stick to waffles & eggs. "Beautiful and spacious room, artfully decorated. The bed was comfortable and the TV allowed us to stream our favorites. We enjoyed our two nights there and will stay again when we are in the area. A lovely and economical alternative to a hotel."

"Pros: room was clean, had a working A/C and refrigerator. Cons: The curtains were tattered and too short for the window and barely covered the width of the window. Beds were hard. Pillows were like a rock. Only offered one wash cloth and two bath towels for 3 people. Did not offer amenities at all. "I had to sweep the floor before I'd even bring in my.luggage. there were dead flues and Rolly Pollies everywhere. It smelled so weird and musty. The ceiling fan was not usable because it was so dirty. The sink leaked and water would run out of the cabinet beneath it. The fridge barely worked. All of this was in an upgraded suite. So I hate to think of the rooms that aren't upgraded. The owner or manager was so rude and in order to get a second key for the other guest, I had to pay $2!!!!! The...
