The taverna on the sea front just infront of the property has excellent traditional Greek food and there are many more to try in the center too. "This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. The suite we got was huge, (living room, full kitchen, dining room, and bathroom downstairs and 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs). "Fantastic resort. Lovely and quiet yet within walking distance to lots of restaurants, shops and the beach. Never stayed in a hotel where the cleaners were so efficient! Would highly recommend the rooms with pool access!"

"Hmm. This is a very good property and would be excellent anywhere else in the world but standards in Greece/Crete are very high. It's a little gloomier inside photos suggest with only limited natural light. There is construction work going on literally adjacent to the property currently so expect some noise and essentially the outdoor balcony space is off-limits during the daytime.
