Forest Golf Club and Inn
10/10 Excellent
"quick check in and out. had room 142 which was a basic 2 queen room that was clean, comfortable beds and nice bathroom area. i believe this wing of the hotel has been redone in the last couple of years. all staff were very friendly and helpful. restaurant had great staff, good food at a reasonable price. would stay again if ever in the area."
The Brentwood Waterfront Retreat
8/10 Good
"My husband and I just spent two nights here. First off I would just like to say that the setting of this B&B is amazing. The grounds are beautiful and the views are spectacular. It is very clean and there are some wonderful amenities (especially the indoor pool) and plenty of seating areas. From there it is a bit more complicated. It is listed as a Bed and Breakfast, but there was no host and as far as we know there was no on-site staff. The email told us to use the double front doors, but when we got there, a sign told us to use the other door. We couldn't see the keypad for the second door and it took us a while to figure out that you have to push it before the numbers light up. This should be explained in the email. The breakfast was a continental breakfast consisting of danishes, muffins, yogurt, etc. There were warming pans there, but they obviously weren't used. You have access to a very well stocked kitchen (bring your own food), but you are expected to clean up after yourself. Before you leave you are also expected to strip the bed and take out the garbage. I have no issue with any of these things, but it's not really what you'd expect from a B&B. It's like a cross between a hotel, a B&B, and a cottage. Contrary to what many reviewers said about how well-maintained it is, we had a broken towel rack in our bathroom, and one of the switches for the bathroom fan was missing parts of the switch. It's a beautiful house and setting, but could use some updates."

"Loved that you have access to a private beach, had some difficulty with the gate but worthwhile"
Amber Hotel

"We were not made aware that the entire hotel was on the second floor of a mall, with no elevators. We did see staff assisting one woman who had a lot of luggage. It would have been nice to know the situation."
