""A little bit funky" is how I would describe Lancaster Arts Hotel. Definitely different, and all in a good way. My requirements for a stellar hotel always includes: clean, comfortable and quiet, and LAH checked all those boxes. Loved the original art work on the walls. The shrimp bisque, ordered on the recommendation of the bartender, was undoubtedly the best I have ever tasted. All employees were cheerful and helpful. I look forward to staying there in the future."

"Have stayed at this hotel multiple times, always has been great and that is why we always go back. Unfortunately, this time we have an unpleasant experience at checking. We arrive a little after 4pm and were told that our room was not ready and that they will call me when ready (no specific time frame was given). We waited in the car. After one hour, I decided to go back in and ask if it would take much longer. If the answer was yes, we would go somewhere and try to do something until I got the...

"There is no place to put your clothes. The room was really clean and the sheets smelled fresh and clean."

"Stayed 14 nights. First morning there was a guy across the street with a jackhammer going off at 6am. Next night kids at hotel were setting off fireworks at 11p. 2 days later the fire alarm went off at 8am, had to evacuate the room. Most nights there were lots of kids running thru the hotel. You could hear their room’s door slam shut. Often. Morning #13 the fire alarm went off again. Had to evacuate again. Breakfast was very mediocre at best."

"Very clean, friendly and helpful staff, VERY comfortable bed and pillows. I even looked up the brand to purchase a pillow for myself at home. The pool was clean and outdoors. The breakfast was good as well!"

"The whirlpool wasn’t open, which was incredibly disappointing. We did have access to an alternative hotels pool, but the pool at this hotel opened up surprisingly quickly. The rooms were nice and the food/drink was pretty nice. Overall a good experience, and an amazing time."

"So bad, there wasn't even soap in the rooms. Guest towels were andingy grey. Several other guest rooms had groups of men who kept their doors opened and seemed to be living there. We had a smoking room, where they only partially made our bed and didn't bother to empty our ashtray. Almost about as bad as it gets for a hotel room."

"At check in I was charged $50 for a security deposit then the owner asked me for my credit card again and charged me again. I brought up my credit card app and showed him he charged me 2 times. He argued with me and said it would take care of itself. When we checked out the next day he credited one of the $50 but the other one remained on my account. I had to open a dispute with my credit card company, they saw I was charged 1 time and credited 1 time so they closed the case. I called the hotel...
