"Clean rooms but they put those terrible air fresheners in the rooms which were overpowering - had to put it out on the balcony. No heating, had to wear a coat to eat in the restaurant. Had to time the water heater in amongst the power cuts. So overall expensive for what it was."

Location is not the most convenient, it's along the main road in middle Pelling, the restaurants tend to be more in upper Pelling although all hotels have their own restaurants. "This is a wonderful hotel. It is a family run establishment and everyone is very attentive and helpful. The breakfast is wonderful and healthy. "I had a salty experience with this booking. I booked a premium room from hotels.com. When I checked in, the room I got was underwhelmingly different from the photos I saw on the website. I talked to the staff at reception and the hotel manager. As per them, there are many premium rooms in the hotel, But the photos they put on the website are of the 2 rooms that are in the corners. They said they posted photos of their best rooms. Agreed! But still, the photos of the rooms you put online should...
