"We had a wonderful stay at Lanta Castaway. Our A/C bungalow was extremely comfortable and steps away from the beach. Staff are extremely friendly and heloful. We had some wonderful meals at the nearby Mama Dang restaurant as well. "

There is national park and truly beautiful gardens outside. The pool is calm and cool with plenty of seats in sun or shade. Breakfast is delicious, even for those who think they don’t like breakfast there is some thing tasty. It is a short walk to a choice of beaches which are all not overly busy and beautiful. The associated restaurant is also good - only recently open so not yet with a strong following but very tasty food and calm atmosphere. "

"We asked on the first day of our 3 day stay if the could fix the shower. They shower never got fixed. Then we could smell the septic system (poop smell) all day long in the room. we needed up closing the door to the bathroom and running the fan all day, everyday while there. I would not recommend."

"What a stay at Lanta L1 Resort. Loved it and didnt want to leave. Dutch looked after me from day one- answered all my questions, helped me hire a scooter and sort my transfers. The ladies on the resort were lovely, always welcoming. The dome i stayed jn was amazing! So spacious and i loved the layout with the private bathroom too. Perfecr walk to the beach and near by grrat restaurants. "
