"The hotel did not have an elevator. The hotel also had a fabulous vintage charm and vibe about it. It was beautiful and the whole staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was great. The location is decent."

"This is a beautiful hotel, rooms are spacious and clean and there are lots of little nooks and cranny’s to sit quietly if you wish. The bar was busy and we ate there. The service was very good and the food, exceptional. Breakfast too was very good. Overall, a good experience but at a higher than necessary price. Also, there is no pool at this hotel and no pool next door, as suggested. You have access to a pool but that’s a five min drive away, so maybe they do not need to mention a pool at all....

"The check-in was an indicator of how the stay would go. We were given room key and told it was straight down the corridor opposite the reception desk. It transpired that the room was almost at the furthest point one could be from the reception area and involved a number of changes of direction and finally a very steep and narrow staircase with literally no landing outside the room.
