"The inside of the hotel is v modern and has nice amenities. Small maintenance issues need dealing with. The exterior needs some touch ups. Staff, Mia, was great and one not so hospitable. Didn’t select breakfast when told my only option was the buffet for 14.99£, despite menu offerings stating otherwise."

"Our room was beautiful, cozy, clean, and we'll decorated. The staff were so nice and accommodating despite a flight change that left us checking in late and very hungry. They made us sandwiches and we're so kind. The location is wonderful and the property grounds are nice. Excellent breakfast. The continental was very well stocked and the menu items were delicious."

"We loved our two nights stay at Melfort House. It was peaceful idyll that restored us somewhat as we were nearing the end of our road trip through Scotland. When we arrived at around dinner time, the hotel receptionist was not there so we checked in with the staff at the bar.
