"The hotel is being renovated, so there was a lot of construction going on around the building entry. There were materials stacked inside the lobby. There were basically no amenities available other than the breakfast, which was good the first morning, but the next couple of mornings there was no juice and no milk so we had to go to Mac Donald’s and get breakfast. The staff was nice enough at the front desk. The rooms were very dated but clean and the beds were very comfortable. Not bad overall, I guess for the price of $80 a night. There was one night that was very noisy with people fighting in the room across from ours and in the hallway throwing things and slamming doors. We called the front desk and they responded immediately so that was good. We were told that we would be emailed a receipt after we checked out but we haven’t gotten one yet. They couldn’t print one for us. I would not really recommend this until they’ve finished renovations but then they’ll charge a lot more for it, I’m sure. "

"Overall, it was great and a great stay for a great price! The shower had someone else’s hair in it, but I can deal with that. I had trouble with the keys multiple times and had to get them reset, and there was no icemaker on my floor, but other than that, it was perfectly clean and comfortable and for the price and area it was fine overall!"

"The property is in need of many repairs and updates. The room we rented was fine in terms of space for our group, but the pictures are definitely misleading as far as level of cleanliness and quality and age of furnishings. I would not stay there more than one night. Everything from the lobby to the hallways, the carpeting, wall paint is all worn out and stained. It's rough. We booked a 2-bedroom suite with a living room and kitchenette in the center. Room 113. Phew! The floors of the showers are stained and chipping. Pleather furniture is peeling. Everything is stinky... like pets and b.o. The fridge is a good size. Miniature dishwasher, which we did not use. The comfort of the beds was decent, and they were a good size. No visibly stained bedding. Hairs found stuck to walls. Stained white towels. One TINY trashcan for the entire unit (not nearly big enough for 5 people). The couch was awful... dirty and stained with ill-fitting slipcovers on the cushions. I will say that I kept expecting to find roaches in the unit, but to my surprise, there was NO sign of roaches. Or bedbugs. Very relieved about that part!!!! Continental breakfast was fine. The usual: waffles, fruit, ok oatmeal, yogurt, juice, coffee, biscuits and gravy were a nice touch! I would not stay here again... but for the price, the size of the room was great, and check-in was very easy. "

"I came expecting the best. Everything was fine until I asked the young lady at the front desk if she had any local menus. Which is a common thing that a lot of places have for guest. She looked at me like I was stupid. As I was getting ready to go up to my room I looked back at her and she was rolling her eyes. I said something and she acted like I was stupid. I go up to my assigned floor and looked at my key and she did not write or told us our room number so I had to walk back down to get it. I needed some ice and when I saw the ice machine I almost threw up. Other than that everything was fine."

"The manager took it upon herself to contact my roommate and report my whereabouts to him. It was none of her business to contact ANYONE, to tell them where I was. I am highly offended that the staff at this motel would pry into someone’s personal life; and to, then, go to the effort of giving that information to someone else. That goes beyond being nosey. She violated my rights, not only as a person, but as a FEMALE, as well. I stated in one of the suites, and it was AWESOME; aside from the incident with my information being given to someone, I have always had a pleasant stay at this motel. I am not sure what caused her (the manager) to initiate outside contact about my room rental? I feel this was totally out of line. For all she knows, calling my roommate to inform him of my location, could have put me in a very dangerous position. Needless to say, I was/a not very satisfied with the results of this latest stay. "

"This is my go to hotel in Amarillo now when I am traveling through the area. Rooms are clean, quiet, and spacious."
