"We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Apopka and were very impressed with our visit. The staff was outstanding, especially the woman working the late check‑in on June 4th—kudos to her for being so friendly and welcoming, even though I didn’t catch her name. The room felt closer to a 5‑star hotel, with everything exceptionally clean and the towels folded so nicely. The entire property was spotless and well cared for, and we would definitely stay here again."

"The place has a bad roach and ant problem. After walking to my non smoking room on the non smoking floor, all you smelled was marijuana and cigarettes. First sign was when I first walked in the room and saw half the smashed dead body of a roach on the wall. It was clear that someone killed it and left it there. Second sign was when I sat a bag on the table and went to take a shower I came back and ants were all over the table. Third, when I was there a little while I saw a baby roach crawling on...

"From the moment we walked into our room, the bathroom was disgusting! The sink was full of dirt, and the tub with small roaches! Our room also smelled like someone had smoked in it. Never again will I recommend this place to anyone."

"The woman who greeted us upon arrival was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Our very spacious, well-designed room looked and smelled clean. The bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. And the free breakfast buffet was excellent! The food was hot, and they served a large variety of very tasty food options! The room was quiet outside, of a common hotel issue of loud A/C systems."

"The staff didn’t seem to have much urgency on helping guests. We were told on the phone that we could check-in early at 1pm, so we arrived early. We weren’t able to check-in until past 3:30. Had they not told us to come in early, we wouldn’t have. The staff was pretty unhelpful and didn’t seem to care that we were waiting so long (per their direction), stated that they were understaffed and that check-in wasn’t until 3.
