"Car parking was fine, staff lovely, room need a good hoover near window very dirty on carpet, asked for a bed make up next day didn't get one, rooms could do with a paint again as lots of marks on walls near bed. Bathroom bit miss matched in decor, pity wasn't a bigger shower as very small. Over all the stay was good, but for the money we paid breakfast should have been included. "

"Beautiful surroundings, the cottage we stayed in was spacious, well kept and ideal for a relaxing break. During most of our stay the onsite restaurant was closed but there are great local options available. The only downside was the pool area was looking a little tired with the jacuzzi and a shower in the changing area out of service. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our time here."

"Dean and Paul were exceptional hosts, and within minutes after our arrival it felt like we were visiting with old friends. It truly was one of the warmest and friendliest environments I have ever experienced at a boutique hotel. Paul’s skills as a chef were amazing, as well! The breakfasts were superb and the lone dinner eaten at the hotel was also memorably delicious. Clean rooms, super staff and a great location for exploring central Scotland, the Birchwood Pitlochry checks all these boxes...
