"This is an older hotel with the rooms being dated but clean. We have stayed here multiple times and would definitely come back. Great location. Friendly staff."

"We came out for our anniversary and had a wonderful time! The sauna and cold plunges were being repaired, which was disappointing, but understandable to service them in the off season. It was quiet and very relaxing and our text to the concierge was very quick!"

"I always worry about booking a place that isn't run by a Superhost, or a hotel. You never know what you walking into, and whether there is anyone who can help. We arrived at 6:30pm. Lots of day light left, so no issues finding the place, or getting in. The WiFi was down, and we needed a blanket. Called the support phone number at 7pm. The answering service took a message. At 9am the next day (after we'd left, and been on the road for an hour) we got a text asking if we still needed help....

"The smoke alarm went on at 4 AM. It was promptly fixed Only issues was that the room was not cleaned daily even though the hotel policy in the room clearly displayed that, as a result my trash bin was full"

"Barking dogs woke us up before 6 am. Dogs barking a lot at other times. Breakfast wasn't much. Property was ok and rooms were pretty clean overall. Staff was very helpful and friendly."

"We spent 3 nights here. Charming, spacious room with many windows on 3 sides. Towel warmer was appreciated in bathroom. Walk around porch deck with comfortable rocking chairs to enjoy the sunsets. Nice full breakfast included in a plesant dining room. Very nice grounds to enjoy as well as a good path to beach. Would definitely return here."

"The florrs had more sand than the beach The bathroom had water running down the walls with huge bubbles in the paint the commode was dripping water The pool and hot tub was out of order and no one bothered to tell me or I would have booked another hotel I asked for more towels and got 3 not a good experience!!!!!!"

"The room was clean, the staff friendly and helpful. The parking was right in front of the room and the area was well lit at night. I will consider this place again when visiting the Outer Banks."
