The property is clean and smells fresh upon entry. The stay are friendly and approachable and make sure to make sure your stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast selection is phenomenal. I will definitely stay here again

Room was dirty. The bottom of my feet were black from the bathroom floor. There was only one towel no wash, cloths or shower mat. I called the front desk and they would not bring me one. They told me I had to come get them. Very disappointing all the way around.

The hotel is very clean. Nice modern rooms. Basic internet works well. My room was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.The only negative I have is the free breakfast. It’s horrible. Coffee is decent.

My door card would not work because battery in the door was dead. Maintenance not available until the next day. I had to get the hotel staff to let me in anytime I entered the room. I didn’t feel safe at all.

I had a 3 week working stay in Kinston NC I normally stay at the Holiday Inns because Marriott didn’t always have a hotel nearby where we would be working I stayed at the Holiday Inn across the way and it was absolutely horrible. After 1 night I moved to the residence. Inn and this place is excellent.I’ll be staying there again for sure

Disappointed in Fairfield
Check in went ok. I was told a private party was going on in the hotel until 9:00 and they would put me up high at the other end. Didnt help when the people on both sides brought the party upstairs. The refrigerator squealed all night, hairs in every layer of sheets, and everywhere in the bathroom and the only protein at breakfast was this weird egg white frittata. The lady at the front desk was too busy putting on her third layer of makeup and looking in the mirror to check me out when she saw me standing there at the desk. Not a fan of the Kinston Fairfield Inn. Will stay in New Bern on my future trips.

The property was clean and comfortable. One room needed to be changed because of moldy smell which was done promptly. Did not like that an additional fee was charged at check out which will be refunded. This, and all charges, should be stated upfront.
