"Hotel was new. Design was well done. Marble and tile. Be prepared had different levels. Steps to lobby, steps to room. Did have ramps a bit steep on staiirs. Shower had no grab bars in a big open area. Staff was kind, helpful and an absolute delight. Food was excellent. ."

"It was my first trip to Bali and the offering can be overwhelming. I chose Como Uma Ubud because I wanted to be in a more quiet and relaxing environment, experiencing the rainforest and the infamous rice terraces, which I consider more typical for Bali. The stay was an absolute outstanding experience from start till end. I felt very well looked after and treated with a very warm welcome. The offerings from daily morning yoga and other activities, as well as pampering massages were simply perfect. My request to explore the rice terraces if possible off the touristic path was met with the highest standards. Made, their head of experience guided me along the terraces along with such knowledge and expertise. It was stunning. A regular shuttle is offered to get to Ubud centre, although it’s also possible to walk (this takes up to 40min in this heat it’s not for everyone and the shuttle the preferred transportation option). A very big thank you to the entire staff. You made my stay very special!"

"Tanah Gajah was by far the most relaxing vacation my wife and I have ever had. From our villa with infiti pool looking on to the rice paddies to the private walled accomodation, the extensive beautifully designed gardens, wonderful food by chef Dean, everything superb! Staff couldn’t do enough and everyone, from ground staff to housekeeping to management should be proud of your customer services, a truly fantastic experience, my wife and I can’t wait to come back."

"Conveniently located on a street parallel to the main drag with restaurants and shops but a third of the traffic. There’s scooter hire and trip agents as well as a convenience store within a minutes walk.great staff and food. Breakfast has eggs cooked to your liking with bacon, sausage, various Indonesian options as well as fresh melon, toast, pastries, cereals, fresh milk and juices so great options. Room has good WiFi ok TV with some English channels, 2 pools available. Only downside is lots of steps as built on land that was terraced rice paddies and awkward access for taxis/drivers. The free afternoon tea was great as was the one meal we ate on site (we loved Warung Ning if you want a truly authentic Balinese meal)"
