"Very remote ~? 1.5 hours from any civilization if Vik qualifies. First time ever experience staying in a Hostel anywhere & we're in our 80s! Wish we had know to bring our own food to cook as they had great cooking facilities. Only evening eating option was 4 choices of thin crust pizza that tasted great. Breakfast part of the cost was great."

"The room we were given was very clean and comfortable. It had a lovely view. But to get to it was another story. It was a steep hill, and the stairs were concrete blocks that were unstable and some were not glued down. Some of the other patrons agreed of the unsafety of them."
