Everything was perfect.

Great location for exploring Kiso Valley and the Nakasendo Trail. Hotel is Japanese style with Onsen and tatami rooms, but also private baths and western amenities. Great view of the local river from most or all rooms.

Fantastic experience with onsen in the mountain.

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The room was very spacious. Great hotel with excellent onsens and fantastic food - would totally recommend

I had a fantastic stay - the rooms were very traditional, clean and had lovely views. The private onsen was really special and the meals were incredible - I really liked the private dining room spaces and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. I'd love to stay again if I was ever back walking the Nakasendo Way!

A very comfortable hotel with exceptional service. The room was lovely with great views of the river and mountains. The food in the restaurant was of a very high quality. We stayed two nights and had a superb French-style meal on the first night with wine pairing. On the second night there was an excellent Japanese meal with Sake pairing. Very impressed overall.

Comfortable hotel in a stunning location The outdoor onsen was very nice

We wish we could stay here longer. The bath was amazing (with 9 different indoor and outdoor pools), the Japanese-style room was a unique experience, and above all - the Japanese dinner was fantastic in both presentation, quantity, service and flavor.

Lovely hotel in a very tranquil setting. Wonderful french food with local Japanese ingredients.

A truly relaxing and indulgent time in pure Japanese comfort. We had a few changes to our plans and the hotel were so so accommodating. Will remember the lovely staff, food and onsen forever.

Onsen was awesome, nice view, dinner buffet was great with beer, staff was friendly and helpful

Beautiful outdoor Onsen. The Japanese breakfast was very delicious. The staff were friendly. We want to come back!
