We were walking the Nakasendo Way and had a great time. The autumn weather was great and the countryside lovely. It’s a great way to see some traditional Japan.

the included Dinner and breakfast were excellent with so many courses and nicely prepared. Very impressive presentation. The onsen, sauna and cold bath was very relaxing. Great option for your Nakasendo trail experience. Beautiful town. Be sure to walk around the temples and find the weeping cherry blossom (I think this was the name).

The house itself is beautiful but all around it is extremely badly taking care of. The yard is a mess, the grass high, and just next to some run down green houses. Some kind of a huge computer was making a terrible noise when we arrived, the owner allow us to turned it off thankfully. Could be a ...

Due to COVID-19, This hotel(old Japanese house) recommend to use family to avoid risk from that. I think better to stay April , May, Sep and Oct to avoid high temperature and cold temperature.
