"開業から年数が経っているようですが、定期的にメンテナンスされているようで綺麗な施設でした。
スタッフの皆さんも気持ちいい対応をしていただき、食事もオリジナリティが溢れとても美味しかったです。
立地的にも開放感がある場所で朝日が綺麗でしたね。
車で行きましたので、公共交通機関で行かれる方のアクセスは分かりませんが、近くにバス停がありました。
今回は早立ちの必要があり正規の朝食は食べることが出来ませんでしたが、おにぎりに変更の対応をしていただき、代わりに作っていただいたおにぎりがとても美味しかったです。
この規模のペンションの中ではお風呂も綺麗で大きめだと思います。
御嶽山への登山を目的に来年再度利用したいと思っています。"

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
The room was very spacious. The staff sets up traditional futon mattresses while you're at dinner, and these are very comfortable. The en-suite onsen is truly luxurious as promised, although be sure to look up steps for how to shower/prepare if you have not done one before!
They also open up the main onsens for private use between 10pm and 6am (during the day they're gender-restricted).

An excellent Ryokan with lovely staff. We felt very well cared for. Thank you very much for your hospitality. The breakfast is spectacular. As advised by the owners, this is a very very traditional old house (it’s the whole point of the experience), so one should not expect hotel things like black out blinds, or soundproofing.

We stayed in the huge 7 bed room, with the hammock and tent. Strange, but fantastic room. Teenage boys enjoyed the popcorn maker and home theatre. Laundry area was easy to use and supplied free detergent. Breakfast was a little limited, but adequate and ok for vegetarians if you request no meat at check in. Fridge in room was stocked up with soft drinks and beers for free. Staff were always helpful and friendly. Would stay here again.

What an amazing hotel, staff greeted us outside the hotel and knew who we were even though we didn't tell them what time we were arriving.
They checked us into our traditional Japanese apartment complete with an outdoor onsen, but not before my girlfriend got to choose her Yakuta to wear.
The apartment was amazing, tatami mats, paper screen windows, floor tables and chairs. The onsen was fantastic, and the outdoor shower was a great experience.
