"The kitchen was well-equipped making it easy to cook as well as there are many restaurant and convenience stores within walking distance. However, a major downside was the condition of the room, which felt dusty and not very clean. We have told the reception but there is not much changes until the end of our stay. This definitely had affected us regarding the overall comfort of the stay."

"I had to book this property at the very last minute on the ground in Tokyo when my other hotel did not work out. This host could not have been more helpful and kind! We had the “penthouse” on the top floor which had about 4 beds in the main room, a beautiful kitchen and another 2 separate rooms with 2 beds each. There were also nice shower and laundry facilities. It is an easy walk to the train station. I would definitely recommend!"

"It was a very nice experience to stay at grand machiya second. Altough we found a bit difficulty to find the property at beginning. Check in and check out was very smooth, concierge was very accomodative to give us earlier check in which was really helpful after a long flight and walk in cold weather with elderlies and young children. Room was clean and spacious enough for our group 6 adults and 2 children, completed with sufficient basic amenities and kitchen utensils for simple cooking....
