"The room was okay. Seemed to have been recently remodeled, although it would have been nice to have things like extra counter space in the bathroom and hooks for towels, etc. You're in the woods so expect some bugs/spiders to make their way into the room. The bed was okay... maybe a little stiff but everyone has their own preferences. The comforter on the bed wasn't great though, one of those thin polyester or whatever things (probably easier for staff to clean). The AC in the room worked well and had the typical noise you'd expect. Bonus was that it wasn't right next to the bed like it is in so many motels; it was kind of over by the bathroom door so that probably helped keep the noise and the dry air from blasting you in the face.
Check-in went well. Someone in the store (if you get there when it's open) will get you all setup. They did text me ahead of time with the details on getting into my room if we arrived after the store was closed which was nice. Having the store nearby is handy if you need any essentials before going into Crater Lake or anything.
Nice little side benefit we got was a coupon for 10% off for a nearby restaurant (Rocky Point Resort) which we used. The food there was good and nice view of the lake, so unless you had something else in mind for dinner, that was a good option.
All in all, this is an okay place to stay if you're just passing through and want a place to crash for the night before/after visiting Crater Lake or other things in the area."
