Attention to detail was not spared - from little touches of water and a good night chocolate on our bedside tables, to filter coffee (not just sachets) provided, beach towels available and lots of vanity touches. "We had an amazing stay at The Fernery. What makes this place amazing is the surroundings - overlooking the gorge and forest is nothing short of spectacular. The hot tubs and jacuzzis were incredible and we also made use of the spa which was wonderful too. The ladies there are fantastic. We thought the restaurant food was excellent and the staff serving there are great too."

"Breakfast and service was good. However, I was double-charged since Expedia charged my card for all 3 rooms, and then Gina at reception said that only 1 room was paid for. So, we had to pay for the remaining 2 rooms all over again!!! Their credit card machine wasn't working. Therefore, had to pay in cash."
