"The villa we stayed in was fantastic. Our own little villa in the jungle. The property is fantastic although a little tired. Some of the tiles in and around the pool were missing, cracked etc. and really should be repaired. The villa plumbing (shower heads etc) also could do with an upgrade. The property is about 100m from the beach and was never crowded. That said, the place was great and we would return to Lanta Pearl again."

"I stayed at the Avani Koh Lanta Resort, and unfortunately, I found it very underwhelming. To be honest, I wanted to leave almost as soon as we arrived. The resort itself is spotless, beautifully maintained, and the staff were genuinely lovely, friendly, and attentive. I have absolutely no complaints about the service or cleanliness. "Our family of 4 came in May 2026, 2 girls age 6 and 9. The hotel was nice and the pool and excellent proximity to the beach was great! Our girls enjoyed the balcony pool. Nice restaurant (we only really ate one restaurant few minutes from the hotel on the beach called somewhere else was yummy, very affordable and also great view of the beach).
