"Super quiet location, rooms were beautifully done and recently refurbished. Very much liked the underfloor heating in the bathroom and super comfy bed. The communal area and restaurant were closed when we visited but there is a fab deli, 2 mins up road and linked to wider Castle Ashby estate. Overall a gem of a hotel and ideal for quiet break to relax and refresh. "

"All very good except for Saturday night when there was live entertainment below us, not informed of this. Staff offered another room but didn’t want to change as it was late and we were tired. Breakfast served by a lovely lady so friendly. Room very good. Staff great . Thank you "

"Couldn't fault this hotel at all. From the beautiful grounds, the grandeur of the building, the impeccable customer service, the delicious food, the spacious, elegant room, the clean, luxurious spa. The drinks were a tad on the pricey side, but the mid week room price including spa access was excellent value for money. Would come here again in heartbeat. "

"I had an outstanding stay. The bed & breakfast is beautifully maintained, spotless throughout, and has a calm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The staff were exceptional, friendly and attentive Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and great quality ingredients.
