Great location and beach. Had the paradise villa which was very nice in 5106, however they need to trim the big tree out front as you could not see the sea which was a real bummer. Charged me for a premium room but not much of a view, I’m sure they would not use that room for advertising.

Wir hatten 9 Nächte eine garden view villa und waren sehr gut zufrieden.Schöner Strand,zentral zu allen Restaurants ,Bars und Supermärkten ,aber dennoch ruhig.Schöner,sauberer Strandabschnitt.Hat uns gut gefallen.Frühstück könnte abwechslungreicher sein.(Keine Haferflocken,nur weiche Milchbrötchen als Brötchenauswahl ,keine frisch gepressten Säfte.Wenn ich 5 Sterne buche,darf ich das erwarten...andere in Thailand können das.Personal sehr freundlich,gerne wieder.

Paradiset på Koh Chang
Vi älskade vår vistelse på KC Grande! Vår Garden bungalow var fantastisk, stort härligt badrum, skön säng. Skandinavisk, snygg stil. Varje gång vi lämnade området för en utflykt längtade vi tillbaka. Bra priser för att vara femstjärnigt, men också närhet till mer puls ett stenkast bort med ännu bättre priser, restauranger, massage mm. Enda negativa var att det ibland var svårt att förstå varandra om man ex ville boka en utflykt etc. Och det är en riktig huggsexa om solstolarna vid poolen (typ 6.00 på morgonen) men på slutet upptäckte vi att man kan ta stolarna vid palmerna på stranden istället och det var ännu bättre. Det finns en policy att man inte får ”paxa solstolarna” men det här var tyvärr inget som efterlevdes. Folk paxade med handdukar och var sen inte där stora delar av dagen. Det här skulle behöva förbättras så att det istället blir större omlopp på stolarna. Men bortsett från det så kan vi varmt rekommendera KC Grande till de som vill besöka Koh Chang 🌴☀️🌊

Beste resort på white sand beach
Vi bodde i beachfront bungalow, og det var utrolig flott. Stort fint soverom, og et flott, stort og lekkert bad. Sengene var helt nydelige, det samme med dyner og puter. Bungalowene ligger veldig flott til. Stille og rolig. Men noe lytt til tilstøtende bungalow. Frokosten var helt utrolig bra, aldri opplevd liknende i Thailand. Det vi var misfornøyde med, var at det var kamp om solsengene om morgenen. Det burde vært dedikerte senger til hver enkelt bungalow. I tillegg burde det vært søplebøtter på stranden.

Flott resort
Nydelig beliggenhet, flott strand. Service vennlig personale. Flott frokost buffe, svært godt utvalg. God mat i restauranten både til lunsj og middag. Bodde i beachfront deluxe, kan anbefales. Synes at 2 stk solsenger burde vært tilhørende beachfront deluxe. Disse burde være merket med rom nummeret. Det kom også folk som ikke bodde på resorten og tok solsenger. Det var til tider vanskelig å skaffe solsenger, og det er ugreit når det prisen for overnatting er høy.

Mukava hotelli hyvällä sijainnilla
Sijainti oli mainio. Ostoskadun päässä, ruokapaikkoja ja hierontoja riittävästi lähellä. Hotelli ei ole viiden tähden resort, mutta kaikki toimi mukavasti. Allasalueet ja rantasijainti tekevät siitä hyvä kohteen.

Wunderschönes modernes und gehobenes Hotel! Hier erhält man das Gesamtpaket! Unser Zimmer war groß modern und sauber. Die Anlage ist perfekt gepflegt und ebenso sauber und ordentlich. Das Personal sehr zuvorkommend, höflich und immer hilfsbereit! Ich kann das Hotel jedem weiterempfehlen!!

Our first time visiting Thailand, we’ve just spent a week at KC Grande Resort & Spa on the island of Koh Chang before heading to Bangkok for the rest of our vacation. We found the resort to be well maintained, very clean, and comfortable. Our ground floor Sea View Grande Deluxe room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the close proximity to the beach, pool and restaurants. We were provided with free parking for our rented scooter. The daily breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of hot and cold foods, and good coffee. WiFi was mostly reliable, and decently quick, with access everywhere we went on the resort property. We really have no complaints about our stay, but note that lounging chairs on the beach and at the pool are quickly claimed with guest towels early each morning. Without a single exception, the KC Grande staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. No one was ever hovering around, housekeeping was quick and efficient each day, and the front desk and security personnel were always smiling and ready to assist. Perhaps the best resort experience we’ve had, in terms of the staff interaction. Highly recommended!

During our stay some part of the resort were/are being softly renovated. Our seaview rooms were dated too (dark old furniture, old tea kettle etc) and would need some attention too. Breakfast is really good with a wide selection. After a sleepless first night due to a very bad sewage smell (they had some problems with the septic tank) we could change rooms. Staff were very friendly - but I would expect some sort of an apology from the management as they were aware of the problem and we really had a very disappointing start to our holiday. The rest of the week was fine and to our satisfaction.

Otur att vi kommer mitt i renovering. Byggställning och massa oljud från bygget in till poolen. Kan tyvärr inte koppla av vid poolen. Men det blir nog fint när det blir färdig. Bästa service av personalen.

Sadly not what we expected
The Room:Deluxe Garden View Villa-it just looked at the back of another room and the entrance to where all the housekeeping staff kept bedding etc, so it wasn't very private & had no view whatsoever. I was just a room, not a villa, with only a thin screen separating the balcony from the room next door. It was a large room & well decorated, the bathroom was very big. Only mirror was bathroom, could not plug hairdryer in as fixed towel rail was over the plug. Beach:bits of litter on beach which spoilt it somewhat, would not have taken long to clear daily. Service:Reception was chaotic & on the occasions I asked questions, no one was able to help or answer. We had one day where all towels & robes were taken from our room by housekeeping, they were replaced when we called Housekeeping - but that should not happen as from the price list for every item in the room,we know they may have charged us for them. The chaps that drive the golf buggies around were lovely and happy, as were the staff at breakfast. Breakfast: delicious & a great choice. General site: Small bits of rubbish everywhere, these could easily be cleaned up-there was a razor outside our room on the floor the entire time. The biggest issue was the noise from the construction work, if we'd had any idea how extensive it was, we would never have booked. They are building 2 huge buildings & all day from 8am-9pm you could hear very loud construction noise, angle grinders,hammers,diggers-the pool & beach peace ruined.

It's an OK place to stay, but not great. Pros: - nice beach and beach front pool; - clean room, comfy bed; - great breakfast; - free sauna in the pool area Cons: - it is falling apart in public areas and the ongoing limited renovation won't fix this any time soon. They need way more than that; - there is no territory of the resort as such - small loan next to the pool and that is it. It is not cozy and you don't want to spend time there; - property does not respect own renovation times and schedule. They extended it by 2 weeks after we made the booking. If we knew, we would pick a different option; Manager declined our refund request for the last night - announcement in the room says work will finish at 5 pm but it continued well past 7 pm every day - first 2 nights the floor was fully wet as the room below us had their AC on at all times so the water condensated on the cold floor; - you have to cross the road every time going to the beach or breakfast and back; - Koh Chang island has nothing to offer and we got bored real quick
