Just got back from Kooncharaburi Resort Koh Chang and wow… what an amazing stay! From the moment we arrived, the staff were super friendly, helpful and made check-in so easy. The whole place feels green and peaceful, surrounded by trees and right by the sea. Perfect spot if you just want to chill, relax, and escape the city noise. The beach here is beautiful and calm, great for swimming, and you can also try fun activities like kayaking or paddle boarding. The pool is huge with such a stunning view – honestly one of the highlights for me! Our room was super spacious, very clean, and definitely worth the price. Food was delicious with lots of choices – plus they’ve got a restaurant, a café, and even a beach bar. Literally, everything you need in one place. Yes, it’s a bit further in from the main road, but honestly that’s part of the charm. You get pure peace and quiet, surrounded by nature – exactly what I needed after busy city life. And the best part? The resort is close to Koh Ngam and Yutthanavi Beach – both absolutely stunning! Took us less than 30 minutes to get there. Crystal clear water, soft sandy the beach, and views that are just next level. Easily a 10/10 stay – can’t wait to come back again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Vi har tilbragt tre overnatninger på Kooncharaburi Resort. Stedet ligger helt fantastisk, men er meget afsides. Der er ingen mulighed for at komme nogen vegne, medmindre man har scooter eller bil. På resortet kan man leje scootere, men de kan ikke bookes på forhånd, så det er lidt som at vinde i lotteriet, hvis det lykkes at få en. Personalet er – med undtagelse af nogle få – meget lidt servicemindede og taler stort set ikke engelsk. Al kommunikation foregår via oversættelsesapps. Derudover er stedet flere steder i meget ringe forfatning. Vores hytte var temmelig medtaget, og flere steder var træværket løst, ligesom der var åbne forbindelser ind under taget m.m. Om natten blev vi vækket af dyr, som boltrede sig bag træinddækningen i et skab. Flere steder var der synligt beskidt samt skimmel- og svampevækst på træværket, både inde og ude. Fyren, som vi formoder var manageren, var sammen med den mandlige bartender de mest ugidelige af hele personalet. De brugte stort set al deres tid på at kigge i mobiltelefoner og var slet ikke opmærksomme på gæsterne, som selv måtte henvende sig, hvis de f.eks. manglede noget under middagen osv. En yngre kvinde, som stod i smoothiebaren ovenpå, var til gengæld den eneste smilende og servicemindede person, vi oplevede under hele opholdet. Overordnet set virker det, som om stedet er i økonomiske vanskeligheder. Poolens rensningsanlæg kører f.eks. ikke, hvilket resulterer i lidt grumset vand. Idyllisk beliggenhet, men her er det for mye som er negativt. Lite serviceinnstilt personale. Ingen smiler. Privat fest som gikk på bekostning av gjestene. Skitten strandsone. Flere av bygningene fremstår ødelagte. Vi dro flere ganger til nabohotellet, SPA resort - en helt annen liga!! Anbefales.
