Semi detached bungalow.

I chose the more expensive bungalow thinking it was detached but wasn't and noise travelled through walls easily. Didn't spoil my stay as neighbours weren't too noisy. It was away across the road from the beach resort so not great if you have children, as unlike the beach bungalows the children couldn't just pop in and out due to the road. The beach bungalows were cramped but the one I had (across the road) was quite roomy. The serving staff at the resort restaurant need some serious customer service training, not rude but not welcoming except for one guy who was exceptional. For the money it's ok, no serious issues.

Ingen safetybox men en kanon bra hotell!

Väldigt mysigt hotell med personal med bra bemötande! Ett minus var ett dem inte hade en safetybox på rummet och att låset på dörren var i form av ett hänglås. Väldigt lyhört då man bor precis vid en trafikerad väg. Men det var dock inget vi störde oss av. Vi bodde i ett mycket rent deluxrum med Seaview (delvis) och hade en hel terass för oss själva och kunde se solnedgången varje kväll.

酒店很新很干净，我们在这里住了8晚，超出我们的预期，地理位置很棒，距离著名的悬崖餐厅很近，穿过马路就是海滩，还可以去对面酒店的游泳池游泳，酒店性价比很高，老板很热情。还可以在酒店租用摩托车，我们度过了非常完美的假期。

Not what we expected

Although the appearance of the room was appealing to the eye, the beds are hard as rock!!!! We had 4 very sleepless nights. The owner was not as friendly as we had hoped......often felt we were intruding by asking questions. He laughed at us when we asked if there's a place to wash our own clothes. The location was OK but the picture of the sea just over the roof of the building is deceiving. The beach is a good 2-3 minute walk. Several nicer hotels in the area for just a bit more.

Helt ok

Helt ok, funkar bra om man ex backpackar och inte har så hög standard. Sjukt dåligt vattentryck, inte alltid man fick städning även om man bad om det, stenhårda kuddar och lite kackerlackor, myror m.m. Men stort rum (vi bodde 3 pers) stor balkong och nära till strand och restauranger. Gick även att hyra moppe för 200 bhat per 24/h.

OK.

Nice room but the cleaning/changing sheets/empty the waistbasked was made after 6 days (we had booked and stayed for 7 nights). We asked for cleaning several times but the staff was very lazy! Anyway the beach which is around 2 minutes walk away from the hotel and the surroundings are nice and relaxing.

Unfriendly staff

The staff is unfriendly and unhelpful and does not seem to care about the guests. I do not recommend this hotel.

I will never go back there

The staff is not as service minded and friendly as you are used to in Thailand. Typically if you ask or request something they just look at you without a smile and then start talking to each other and seems to forget you are there. You get the feeling that they think the guests are just disturbing them. When we arrived they just told us the hotel where full. Not until we found our confirmation did they care to look in their own records. When half of the laundry where lost they did not seem to care and we had to wait another 24 hours before getting it back, and with no excuse. We ate lunch at the restaurant, chicken with garlic and pepper, and had to spend the next two days in bed with food poisoning.

Hôtel minable

Après avoir payé la réservation pour cet hoteĺ Je suis arrivé à ko lanta le 30/12/2013 ,j ai présenté mes documents de voyage et la pas de réservation Il n ont jamais eu cette resa ... Impossible de trouver autre chose sur cet île une veille de nouvel an Tout était complet Ils ne travaillent pas avec expédia ! Je me suis retrouvée un local sans fenêtre avec ma fille de 5 ans à l autre bout du monde avec 0 contact ´ j'ai été arnaquée et cela a gâché à ma famille et a moi-même des fêtes programmées depuis longtemps.

Food poisioned

The staff was very unprofessional and ignorant. Very different from the friendliness you are used to in Thailand. First they claimed that there where no free rooms even though we had booked and payed for the room in advanced. Not until we found the confirmation did they care to look in their books. We ate lunch at the restaurant, chicken that didn't seem to be newly coked, which resulted in food poisoning and two full days crawling between the bed and the bathroom. We used the laundry service and half the clothes where lost and they did not seem to care, when they finally cared to look for the lacking clothes it appeared that those where not washed at the same time as the clothes that we received, we had to wait for one extra day to have all clothes washed. On the positive side, the location is nice next to a beautiful beach and close to stores, scooter rental and tour-organizers. The room was very modern and clean (except for maybe a hole in the wall where you could see into the neighbors bedroom and vice verse). In short, it feels like they do not care the slightest about the guests and I recommend that you choose another hotel if you can.

Don't recommend!

Not that friendly and helpfull staff, only one of the staff members were speaking English but just a little. The TV at our room wasn't working, although it wasn't a problem for us, but still. The hotel had no safety locker at all, not in the reception and neither at the rooms so to be sure your things won't be stolen you have to keep the with you all the time. One positive thing was that the rooms was quite big and it wasn't far from the hotel to the beach. That's like the only good things about it. Except from being close to the beach, the location wasn't good and it was quite far away from Saladan.
