" This is a beautiful property in a lovely little town. It was nice to be away from the bigger city and Panos made us feel special and right at home. He upgraded us to the nicest suite and is a wonderful host. The breakfast was made fresh and delivered to us each morning, it was delicious and full of Greek specialities. This is a true gem of a place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of staying in Kefalonia."

"We loved our stay at Penelope Villas, the villa was very well kept, spacious, modern, well equipped and in a great location. With just 4 villas it was quiet, but literally a 5 minute drive from Sami main promenade with a great selection of restaurants and shops. The only issue was the air con wasn’t working properly but the owners were very quick to get it fixed. The owner, Stavros, is an incredible host and takes great pride in providing the best experience possible in every way. The common space is a huge, shaded patio with gorgeous plants and comfortable seating overlooking the charming port town. "Excellent balcony view. Much better than the images online. Easy walk up to it. Only two things that need improving is the air conditioning is very loud in the bedrooms and living room (although you can leave it on when you go out!) and theres nobody at reception until you call them (they leave a number at the door and they come up in 2minutes). We would definitely return"

"This was our first hotel experience as a couple, as we normally hire a villa, car and fend for ourselves. However, family tragedies dictated that we needed to escape and be “looked after” in order to de-stress, rest and recharge our batteries after six weeks of heartache. "Although a small apartment kitchen/dining, shower room and bedroom. Good balcony overlooking pool and out to see with uninterrupted views of those magnificent sunsets. You do need to hire a car. Although limited utensils we could make our own breakfast. Although there is breakfast available at 15€ pp. Plenty of places to eat locally all drivable. "

"Een parel in Vathy. Vanuit het hotel heb je mooi uitzicht over de baai. Het is heerlijk stil en de kamer heeft een lekker bed, prima badkamer en gelukkig geen saaie ‘trendy’ hotellook. Het ontbijt met veel verse & huisgemaakte producten, en de koffie zijn heerlijk. De eigenaresse is erg lief en gastvrij; we hadden een heerlijke tijd hier en komen zeker nog eens terug. "
