"My partner and I stayed at Grand Blue Fafa Resort & Spa for our first Valentine’s Day together, and unfortunately it was very disappointing. When we arrived, the main parking lot was full (we used the secondary lot), and the reception lines were extremely long — about 30–40 minutes. While waiting, we heard the guest in front of us complain about being given the wrong room. After checking in, our room was not decorated for Valentine’s Day as requested and confirmed, and it wasn’t the junior suite we paid for — it was labeled an “apartment.” We went back to reception and were moved, but the second room was also not decorated. Since we had already been given the wrong room once, we weren’t even sure if this one was correct. My partner didn’t want to use the bathroom at first in case we were told again it wasn’t our assigned room. The layout looked very different from the online photos, and we were told the Expedia pictures were from seven years ago. By the time this was resolved, it was nearly 8 PM. We hadn’t eaten, and the spa was closing within an hour, so we had very little time to enjoy what we booked. They offered a drink and late checkout, but that didn’t make up for the lost time since amenities open later and we still had to pack. Overall, it felt very unorganized and disappointing for such a special occasion."

"The check in process was month. The rooms were clean. The water pressure in the bathroom was quite powerful. Breakfast was quite continental. Ermal from reception was very receptive. He made sure our stay was very smooth. I will recommend this hotel. "

"Bar in restaurant only had one flat prosecco which I sent back as it was vile. They said that they had no alternative. One of the swimming pools was thick with stagnant algi and pute green, so we couldnt use it "

"No air conditioning! They promised (falsely) to fix it and then said it could not be fixed. We slept with the balcony door open and are now covered in mosquito bites. And we couldn’t sleep because the mosquito buzz is surprisingly loud when it’s near your head. We killed several, most of which were already full of our blood. Breakfast and dinner were included and were fine, limited menu but good. Pool and beach were nice. But we were pretty miserable after the hot restless night without ac. "

"We really can't fault the accomodation and staff were helpful, the gardens are kept immaculately, but the area between the end of the drive and the walk to the road to the beach are disappointing, with rubbish strewn in the road and surrounding areas.By no means is the hotel at fault here but the area does need a 'tidy up'. Food options could be more available with snacks at lunchtime limited, my wife had recently been diagnosed coeliac, but options open to her were limited."
