It is very near to the airport and the location, staff, service was very good. During my short stay, I find this property very suitable if you want to stay in an excellent and nearby property to the airport.

Well worth a visit
A hidden gem not far from the airport and close to many shops. The staff were very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much. Varied menu - catering for all tastes from continental to Asian. And if you take their meal plan as we did (breakfast and either lunch or evening meal - your choice) it is well worth the money.

Nice Hotel on VIP Road and Close to Airport
The Rooms are well done, but it was all dusty as when I used the wash room, the floor was turning muddy as there should have been lots of dust there and when water fell turned browny.

Hotel is good service is also good,but sorry to say that the manager of the hotel is,sorry i do not have a better bad for him,whatever i will it will be less for him.If the owner of the hotel read this than i would like to request him pl throw him out immediately,other wise he will ruin your hotel reputation.My humble request to Hotel.com also to take a action against him.If u people want ask me what happen you are free to call me or mail me.He is not capable for bell boy post but unfortunately he is sitting on manager post.

Suitable as transit accomodation near the airport
We stayed here just for a night after touching down very late at night. Hotel is very close to the airport. I guess that's why a bit pricey. Will not recommend for any other purpose.

All ok. Check your billings before you pay.
We just wanted to spend a night between two flights and everything was as expected until the billing. We booked an all inclusive tariff and while checking out they added the taxes over and above what i had booked for. When i asked them to rectify it, they said that this is a practice and we do it for all the customers. They also charged me for a local call which was a patch through by the receptionist to the internet guy because the internet was not working for my room. High level of misinformation and irregularities in the way they bill. Please be aware while paying and check for everything before you make a payment. In the end after almost crying out loud, and showing them the email confirmation of from Hotels.com, i paid only for what i booked. Hotels.com should also take this up with them as they had no idea about this.

Poor cleaning job.
When we checked in, we found tip money from the previous traveller and pubic hairs under the bed covers. When we asked for the bedding to be changed, housekeeping just brushed the pubic off the bed (right infront of us) and tried to pass it off as being cleaned.

Reasonable hotel close to the airport
The hotel room was quite nice, clean and comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant which was lovely with good food although a bit overpriced. We'd asked for an early wake up call but this didn't happen and checking out was a bit of a nightmare, taking a long time for the staff member to sort themselves out. The hotel also added on the cost of a taxt to the airport which cost three times the amount we paid coming to the hotel.

Good for transit
We stayed for an overnight stay between flights. Airport pick up and drop off very efficient. We were offered a room that had been used by a smoker but staff quickly moved us to another room. Very nice food for dinner and breakfast. Overall a good hotel.

Very Accomodating!
I was very Pleased with my stay at the Celesta Hotel. The staff was informative and polite. I was impressed by the Hotel Management timely manner of correction to any concerns. The food was wonderful. I had a concern of wait staff accommodating a large group; but was reassured it would be no problem. My Organization have made arrangements for a future stay at the Celesta Hotel.

The hotel is good. Not too many facilities, but if you are looking for a comfortable sleep, a good breakfast, clean rooms, and friendly staff, close to airport and most of all a good price... This is the place.

Disappointed - what you see is not what you get!
I was very disappointed when I arrived at the Celesta hotel in Kolkata. The actual hotel does not come close to the pictures and advertisements. It is crowded and congested, the rooms are very small and contrary to the picture posted in their advertising there is no rooftop restaurant. Being close to the airport is the only thing this hotel can really boast about. During the first night of my stay I had someone trying to get into my room in the middle of the night (I didn't open the door). In the morning when I went for breakfast some guy was passed out in the hall near my room - the hotel staff was trying to arouse him (likely the guy who tried to get into my room in the night). Where is the security at this hotel? If this hotel advertised itself as a two star hotel and charged accordingly I may not have been so disappointed. However, they claim to be a 4 star and charge as much as real 4 star hotels. There are 4 star hotels in the area for almost the same price and they are far superior to the Celesta.

Good choice for a night before a flight
Celesta is close to the airport, so I stayed there for a night before my flight. It was a great choice for that - newish and clean and comfortable. I rated their service lower than I might have because when I checked in, there had been a mix-up with my reservation. I called Hotel.com and they straightened it out, but the receptionist would not let me into my room until receiving an email from Hotel.com, even though he had personally spoken with them on the phone and been assured I had a reservation and paid for the night. That meant I had to stand around the reception hall for a while, after a long and tiring day. When I got to my room, I could not make the TV work, and the "repairman" who arrived finally figured out that somebody had switched it off completely with a switch that seemed centered on the back of the mounted TV. It was clear that he expected a tip for making it work. Other than that, I was quite content with my night and breakfast at the Celesta and would certainly chose it again. If I had had more time, there are even some local shops and small restaurants that I could have explored, which is a much better location than many other hotels in the airport area.

Nice hotel friendly staff and good Food.
Friendly Staff makes your stay comfortable specially the boys in the restaurant were very polite and made sure I was happy with the food. But its situated at a very busy street but close to the airport so it was good for me as I hade to catch another flight next morning.

Decent Hotel close to the airport
The Hotel exceeded expectations nice clean room -on the small side but well fitted out No view at all The window looked out onto the wall of the adjoining property However the staff and the general ambiance of the place made up for this Breakfast was fair BUT not ready at 0700 as promised -- staff rushed around to make sure we has something and we left satisfied -- but a bit late for the taxi We ate at the hotel the evening before nice meal but slow service --- although very pleasant and efficient

While the hotel was clean, I was disappointed in the very poor/unreliable internet connectivity in the hotel and the very limited selection of fresh food options at breakfast. These two things, along with a comfortable bed and clean room make up the basis of my hotel selection. As a result I will look further on my next trip to Kolkata.

It's difficult to assess the hotel as I stayed for a few hours before I left for the airport to catch a connecting fligth.The room was clean,bed was comfortable,bathroom was big enough and clean too,the aircon,tv,lights were all functioning very well.However the breakfast was much to be desired.The hotel staffs were polite and helpful.

Ok hotel close to the airport. What it has going for it is that it is new and so the "hardware" is good quality. And oh, don't try to find the hotel using the address they have listed. It is just the official address and nobody seems to know where that is (including my fairly reliable GPS). Call them and ask for the 'landmark'.

Its like a home and all the employees as a family members. They treat people with love and affection. Boishakhi, Biswajeet, Tulshi, Ashim, Mr Mukherjee, Prince, Sobyosachi and Gopal..they are just awesome. I will come back here again and again. ;)

Nice Hotel close to airport
The hotel is a reasonable distance from the airport (about 4-5 km which is 2.5 to 3 miles). Based on the taxi ride it looks like it is in an industrial area versus a tourist area. My flight arrived about 4 pm and by the time we had our luggage and got to the hotel it was after 5pm. I needed to leave by 8:30 am the next morning to catch a plane. The restaurant had a variety of items on the menu. I only wanted a very light meal and got the Lemon Coriander Chinese soup and one order of vegetarian spring rolls. The food was good and the meal was light, and came to a little less than 300 rupees. Breakfast is included in the price of a room and was a very nice breakfast buffet of Indian cuisine, and some American/European selections which included three types of cold cereal and milk, toast, lightly seasoned potato wedges, scrambled eggs, and chicken livers, fresh papaya, and a second fresh fruit selection. The Indian cuisine included watermelon juice, idly with sauces, a lightly seasoned rice with vegetables and dal, and a couple other dishes. The bed in my room is the most comfortable bed I have experienced since arriving in India. The shower head in the shower was several times larger than a typical American shower head and there was plenty of water pressure and hot water, so the shower was great. The hotel has WIFI.

最低のホテル
Hotels.comでは予約完了になっていましたが予約が入っていないと言われました。 部屋は空いており宿泊したのですが、Wi-Fiはダウンして使用できず、朝食ビュッフェは7:30からと確認したのですが出来ておらず食べれないなど兎に角最低のホテルです。
