We only stayed overnight as we were travelling on to Lefkada the following day but everything was perfect. Nice restful night's sleep after the journey from Yorkshire. "We stayed for a few days to attend a wedding in Lassi and we had an enjoyable stay in a nice location. Lovely staff- breakfast was nice and the pool snacks were even better! Can highly recommend their Greek pizza- it was delicious! The only things that stops me giving 5 stars is that the curtains in our room were very thin and we had a bright light shining in all night- blackout curtains would be good for the rooms. I also didn’t like that guests could smoke anywhere including by the pool but...

Kefalonia Grand Hotel

"★★★★★ We had a great stay at Kefalonia Grand Hotel and would definitely come back! The location was perfect, right in the centre with plenty of shops, restaurants and cafés within easy walking distance. The staff were all very helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. Breakfast had a great variety, with all coffees included, as well as fresh eggs and pancakes made to order from the kitchen, which was a lovely touch. The room itself was on the smaller side, but it was very clean and the daily housekeeping was excellent. Everything was kept fresh and tidy throughout our stay. There is street parking available, which we found quite easy to get during the day, although I imagine it could become more difficult later in the evening. Having a car is also useful for exploring Kefalonia, as some of the beautiful beaches do require a drive, which is pretty standard for the Greek islands. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The location, friendly staff, cleanliness and breakfast made it a great experience, and we would happily stay here again. Definitely recommend!"

"Beautiful family-run hotel. We stayed for six nights and found it very comfortable....it genuinely felt like home, thanks to the number of different spaces to sit and relax. It was never too crowded to find somewhere quiet to go. The food was lovely, with everything home-baked at breakfast, and the views and rooms were beautiful. Our only negative experience was that our bathroom wasn't very clean on arrival, and our room smelled of drains. We asked to move rooms, but staff weren't very helpful in assisting us, and we never heard back from them for the rest of our trip....despite paying for two rooms (a garden courtyard room and a double) to accommodate the five of us. I later checked online and saw there was a spare room available, which made the lack of response even more disappointing. Aside from that, everyone was very helpful."
