"On the plus side: the location is hard to beat - amazing and energetic neighborhood, lots of food options, not far from the Metro in two directions. Less noisy than we would have expected. On the minus side: We got the sense that the property was recently renovated and not all the bugs have been worked out. We put an unneeded pillow on a shelf in the closet and it promptly collapsed, suggesting no one had ever used it. More importantly, we had no wifi for two days - the hosts tried to provide...

"Very clean, close to downtown shopping and the mountain trails, friendly staff that are more than happy to speak English if you don’t speak much or any French. Pool doesn’t have a hot tub and is a bit small but overall has a nice atmosphere and has great change rooms with shavers, and any other things if you need to shower there."

"Everything was as described. Large comfortable room with useful furnishings, fantastic lap pool, exercise room, and rooftop deck. The location is very good with an easy walk to Vieux Montreal. I can highly recommend it."

"We just returned from our first trip to Montreal and the Hotel Bonaparte has a fantastic location in Old Montreal. It was around the corner from Notre Dame Basilica and the perfect place to stay for our first visit. Metro was close as well as museums, shops, lively nightlife and delicious cafes. Freshly made biscuits/scones are delivered each morning with juice and were delivered to the door which made our visit very special."

"Front desk closed early for some reason, but check in instructions were clear. Breakfast staff was wonderful, attentive and friendly. Most annoying issue was I had left an item in my room and called the front desk but got no answer so I left a message. After a few hours I tried calling again with no answer.so we stopped by anout 2pm. The lobby door was locked and no one at the front desk. We finally got the maintenance lerson's attention who helled me get my item. She said front desk should have...
