"The umbrella by the pool (ringed in red) fell and nearly hit my partner on the head, just missing her by pure luck. It was not secured properly, and there was no apology from the staff. Food was poor, and cleanliness could have been much better (bird's nest on our balcony and bird droppings (see photo) had not been cleaned prior to arrival. "The hotel and most of the staff were friendly and spoke English. However, we ended up in a corner room surrounded by teenagers throwing parties and barely got any sleep. They had loud music and were so loud that it carried in over the balcony. The staff that night happened to not speak English but with good descriptive sounds he understood and helped. However the noise continued all night and we barely slept. We had to wake up early the next night. The food was good and inexpensive and free...
