"Favorite hotel we stayed at in Iceland!! It is conveniently located along the golden circle in a geothermal field next to a small river. We were upgraded to a river view (which I would definitely book next time), spent copious amounts of time in the hot tubs, and even saw the northern lights!! The included breakfast was delicious, room was spacious and comfortable and clean. Easy parking out front. Truly picturesque — had such a wonderful time at this hotel and hope to be back in the future!"

"Room was clean & spacious with good powerful shower. TV channels a little confusing! We didn't use the spa as it was quite costly at £20 (approx). Restaurant attached does not advertise it's prices for evening meals at the door or provide a menu. We were simply directed to the buffet with no mention of the bar food option. To pay £150 for 3 buffet meals (& drinks) was hugely expensive (& that included a 20% discount). Had we known of the bar food option, we would have almost certainly simply...

"Excellent hotel! Our stay was very nice, everything was absolutely great! We highly recommend getting a balcony as the view is lovely. It is also perfectly located to explore the west side of town and its beautiful waterfront! The only comment we have is that there was a lingering smell in the bathroom."

"Room is big and clean. Hotel staffs are friendly. It is listed as location for pick up on most tour provider. The only downside is location. It is not center, need to walk 2.4 km to downtown Reykjavik, but bus stop is close by. Only 1 Indian restaurant across the street. Grocery store is within 10 minutes walk."

"Staff are lovely. Nice breakfast selection. Great location for town, harbour and restaurants etc. Parking cost a few pounds a day but very convenient , P3 around the corner."
