"Rooms are very outdated and not clean. Another group we were traveling with had bed bugs in their room and had to be relocated. Rooms are dark, bathroom very small and had mold around the edge of the shower. Overall not clean and not an enjoyable stay."

"We usually stay at drury properties no matter where we go, Fairview heights even though a newer one was probably the worst. The rooms were clean but the pool and hot tub were absolutely disgusting there were hair, skin pieces, bandaids, and the overwhelming smell of urine. You could tell it had not been cleaned in a long time. And the hot tub jets did not work at all it was stagnant people soup. The staff seemed to not care about anything at all. "This was my third stay at The Principal Hotel. The history of this property is unique and the rooms are amazing - essentially in brand-new condition and very tastefully designed and decorated.
