"The room smells like it has a bad drainage system. Once we enter the room and it smells like the toilet has been backed up. The fabric spray provided was useless. Attitude of staff were mixed, some discrimination were definitely present. Felt harrassed by the staff to settle the bill due to deciding to have extra guest in the room which we also had already decided to pay for. "

"It was a great property for a large group that expressed the unique culture of Kyoto. Nice local cuisine options in the area and is a decent area as a hub after a day's activities. The one caveat is that depending on your schedule it may be easier to cab rather than take the local buses nearby. "

"This was one of my best experiences traveling to Kyoto. The staff at check-in were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy. All the amenities were conveniently located, and we easily found everything we needed.
