"Rooms were very clean and tidy and no complaints on the property itself or staff - for us personally, I did feel like it was quite a way out but we were aware of the location and this is due to no fault of the hotel.
Only concerns we had - we logged the safe didn’t work, the team tried a few times on the night of arrival but in the end as we had been travelling all day from 3am (this was now 9pm) we asked them to come back and try tomorrow - which they did no problem. We came back to the safe being left open for reset but again nothing worked. the issue was never resolved so we had nowhere secure to store money and passports other than on us.
The only other minor thing was we like to wind down with the tele on for back ground noise and the tv didn’t work in the bedroom due to the remote I think as the tv unit it did have a power light on . This was late at night we realised this and didn’t want a 2nd night in a row having to try and fix an issue when your ready for bed. Again nothing detrimental but for a 5 star place to have 2 key items not work, I do not feel 5 star review was warranted. 4 - 4.5 defo!"
