This is my worst and scariest hotel stay. I went alone to check-in to a twin bed studio.
The front desk staff, Mr Conrad was neither friendly nor courteous and made several crucial mistakes.
1. Other guest (Mr Tan) were wrongly checked-in under my name earlier and then I was wrongly checked-in under other guest’s name, Mr Tan. How could that happened when i provided them both my NRIC and Expedia booking number
2. Wrongly assigned me to a room which is already occupied. I entered the room using the keycard provided and resulted in me being angrily shouted by an Indian man occupying the room with a lady that time. I was in great shock and my heart was palpitating all the way. Btw, this is a 1 bedroom suite, and not studio that i booked.
3. Next, he assigned me to a wrong room again, a 2-bedrooms suite. So got to be reassigned to another room
4. For the 3rd room, it was a king-sized bed studio instead of twin bed suite that I booked. Anyway, I accepted the room.
5. There was no other guest checking-in that time, but with all these mistakes, it took 45min for me to get a room and another 15min to get the 2nd room key for my roommate
6. And that night, my roommate couldn’t enter using the 2nd key when I was not around. So inconvenient.
In conclusion, the hotel & room conditions are good and clean. But the staff’s services were really inefficient and it had not only caused inconvenient but also compromised the guest’s data & physical security as well as privacy.
