Staff was very friendly. this place is also in the middle of nowhere do not recommend you drive here at night so many curves and NO light "

Unlike too many other places, the elephants here do not have to carry tourists on their backs, perform tricks or paint pictures. They are rescued from street begging, illegal logging or from camps where they did have to ride with tourists before. If you like elephants, there is no better place to go and no better way to support the cause of free animals.

"What a hidden gem. Booked this last minute. Pleasantly surprised as there were mixed reviews. I suspect people looking for all the creature comforts from home. I was given my own bungalow. Big room and huge bathroom. AC worked great, I had not water anytime I needed it. Has a rustic/bohemian vibe which I loved. Tucked away so it’s quiet but also super close to the market and restaurants. Breakfast in the more had multiple options. By far my favourite stop on my 21 day trip around Asia. Highly recommend this place. "
