"Location was great; within 5 mins walk to 2 metro stations (1 of which is just 1 stop from Kyoto Station), convenience store (7-Eleven) and 2 local mini-markets. Room we booked was spacious and clean, and staff were very friendly and helpful. Used the luggage forwarding service recommended by hotel to send our luggage onwards to Osaka, and it was simple to use."

"My husband and I were traveling around Japan on holiday and happened to be staying in Kyoto for my birthday. At the last minute, we decided to upgrade our stay with a room at Nol Sanjo Kyoto. We could not have been happier we did. From the moment we arrived, the staff was helpful, welcoming and kind. "ORI Rokkaku looks deceptively small from the exterior however our room/studio was very spacious and also had a well equipped kitchen. It was very clean and all the amenities were fantastic and the gentleman at the reception was very helpful in giving suggestions for local restaurants. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this place."
