"I normally like Scandinavian-type beds, but this one was too firm and hurt my hips. Room was very small but fine because I was solo. Staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast was typical Nordic buffet, and sufficient to keep me going while sightseeing. Hotel is close to public transportation, and the Central Train Station isn't terribly far. Helsinki can be hilly with lots of uneven cobblestones, so be prepared! "

"This was a fine stay, good location. We didn’t want to pay $19E each for breakfast so skipped that. We did early check in for $20E at 1:00 but heard them tell someone later if you wait til 2:00 they’ll let you check in early for free."

"The staff was courteous but mostly English speaking. Breakfast was delicious and lacked nothing for our group. The room was tired and worn out and we definitely expected more for the price. Location is very good; central, but also the rooms were quiet, never heard any noise from outside or inside. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at Noli studios! It is not near Senate Square and Market Square, however, very accessible and easy to get to with public transportation. The added amenities made it really worthwhile too. We happened to be there while a community meal was being hosted and we used the sauna facilities every day of our stay. We also liked the proximity to a grocery store since our room had a basic kitchenette. This place is a great value for a stay while visiting Helsinki!"

"The hostel is well connected for public transport - 5-15 mobs depending on which one you need. It's clean and the staff are very nice. One thing to hear in mind is that the doors are very heavy, so they slam shut alot, so definitely bring ear plugs! This was enough for me as I slept well. The only thing I didn't like is that some if my fellow travellers found it amusing to bang on the door to the room I was staying on one night and try to kick down the door of my neighbour's room on another night. Obviously this is not down to the hostel this is other travellers, but certainly not ideal. "
