"At first, they tried to Palm off an old, moldy, tiny room which was not the room we had reserved.
Finally, after we complained and made ourselves clear, they moved us to the type of room we had confirmed.
It was okay the first night, but the second night they moved in a noisy family right next door at 2:00 in the morning. The husband and wife were shouting back and forth to each other in the hallway and the kids were screaming.
I had to go downstairs in my pajamas to find somebody to complain.
One of the staff, perhaps the night manager, came up and continued to say "sorry, sorry sorry". I told her that sorry didn't help. I said that the main reason when books a hotel room is to SLEEP and that we were very tired from traveling and needed to get our sleep. I told her I was nearly 80 years old and very exhausted.
She explained that they were full up but would move us the next day. For the last 2 days, we did have a nicer room in a quieter section of the hotel. But frankly, that even reflects more poorly on them, since that is the room they should have given us in the first place. Will not recommend and will not stay there again.
They did give us a small discount in an effort to compensate us for our trouble.
I'd like to be able to write a better review, but the bottom line is you only get one chance to make a first impression and our first impression remains terrible."
