"Property is not found at 53 Riverside Road, Matale. Given phone is switched off but he answered on the previous day and asked us to come. According to him weather was ok but weather was terreble and came back home because no place to stay at the night. I had to block my card as well. The worst experience I have ever had. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone."

"Upgraded to their new hotel which was very good, excellent swimming pool though hand rails would help. Annoyingly, for a brand new hotel, you had out of bed to turn the lights off! Grounds beautifully maintained. Food fine. A pleasant ambience for relaxing. Across the road from the Elephant Orphanage. Close to other Elephant Charities and the Elephant Poo Paper factory which was an interesting visit."

"Lovely boutique hotel made even more special by the people who work here. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, an excellent en-suite shower room, and a balcony with a view over the pool. "Cannot say enough good things about our stay at Pearl House. Both hosts were amazingly welcoming and made us feel right at home by giving us recommendations and tips for getting around. Property may feel long away from the centre but they advised a short cut that made the walk only 10 minutes. Also, the room had AC and a fan which was ideal after hiking all day. Will definitely stay again if visiting Kandy."

"This is in a beautiful location! High up in the hills. The hotel is lovely. We arrived and waited for an hour or so. It seemsd abandoned and the telephone number was out of order. So we decided to leave and walk down the hill to find another hotel. So lucky for us we asked a man if he had a tuktuk and it turned out he worked at the hotel sometimes so took us back. Indika was incredile. He looked after us from start to finish. Made sure our rooms were kovely and clean. Brought us refreshments....
