"Great property. The available amenities (two onsite Olsen, one indoor and one outdoor, full size kitchen) are worth the price. Had a little hiccup when trying to find the property, but owner will provide instructions to get to the property and parking. Just need to make sure you pay attention to the pictures on the instructions. "

"Super hospitality despite the language barrier, a very charming small inn. Only a few minutes from the train station, and an easy walk to the center as well. Lots of small, nice touches and a fully equipped kitchen for guests. "

"Huge house for family to share, wish we can stay even longer to well use the house and enjoy the Aso National park more!
Great facilities like kitchen, washing machine and jacuzzi bath tub."

"The house was spacious, clean, and very comfortable for our family of three. The two bedrooms, each with two single beds, provided more than enough space for two adults and one child. The kitchen was well equipped with essential cookware, including a rice cooker and microwave, which made it easy for us to prepare meals. The balcony offered a great view and added to the overall experience.
The location was also very convenient. Major bathhouses and sightseeing spots were within walking distance,...

"It was an interesting concept where guests remove their shoes and place them in lockers at the lobby. The entire hotel, from the lobby to the guest room corridors, was covered with tatami mats, creating a cozy and authentic Japanese atmosphere.
Check-in was fast and efficient, and the room size was very decent. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive complimentary cup noodles.
The onsen was one of the highlights of our stay. The public bath was spacious enough and never felt overcrowded. In addition, there were seven private onsen baths available for guests. Free ice cream was provided on the 13th floor, which is also where the onsen is located.
Laundry facilities are available on the 7th floor. The washing machines are free to use, and guests only need to pay for the dryer.
A complimentary noodle supper is served daily from 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM, which was a nice touch after a long day of sightseeing.
Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The unique tatami concept, excellent onsen facilities, and thoughtful complimentary services made for a comfortable and memorable experience."
"If you want to experience authentic Japanese hospitality, Amane Resort is your top choice.
If you want to stay in a spacious, clean, well maintained room with your own onsen overlooking the ocean, Amane Resort is your top choice.
If I return to Beepu, I know where to stay.
PS the included breakfast is icing on the cake; it was delicious & full of options"
"It was a scenic walk from the lake to the property, we enjoyed it although it was drizzling. The room was nice and comfortable to accommodate 5 of us. We didnโt realize that there was no attached shower room when we booked so was a little shocked when we realized that upon check-in. If you intend to go to the onsen (which you should really go - there are 2 private ones and a big public one), then thereโs no big issue with that. The dinner experience was also great, it was an extensive spread and immediately after dinner, there was free drinks at the front desk area. I would love to stay one more night so we could thoroughly enjoy the facilities and the beautiful surroundings!"
"The property is set in a perfect location of Yufuin, only a few minutes walk to the main streets/ Yufuin Floral village. The staff were very attentive and welcoming, and the property is charming and traditional. The private onsen was a nice touch! The only downside to the hotel is that itโs a little dated and the walls are paper thin. I would recommend ear plugs if a light sleeper! Also, we did not realise that everything in Yufuin closes at 5pm - only 3 restaurants were open in the whole town and one of them was fully booked up so thereโs really not much choice. We decided to not book half board as we wanted to try different foods but very nearly got caught out as did not realise everywhere shutโฆ. Just something for travellers to be aware ofโฆ"
"If you don't have a car and don't like walking up a hill or for 20 minutes to the nearest station, this is not for you. But if you can get past that, this place is gorgeous! We were on the sixth floor with a view of the mountains in a Japanese style room. Tatami mats, futon, floor chairs. The bathroom had the bidet but a regular shower bath combo. A little moldy from the lack of circulation and it smelled like urine the whole time even after cleaning. Gorgeous view7PMs of the ocean and mountains. We saw Hawks and other birds on the daily. Breakfast buffet and dinner buffet were complimentary. Great selection of food and drinks alcohol included. We also got access to the lounge for refreshments and drinks in between. Basement had coin laundry and onsen third floor had games and a reading area for Manga. Very enjoyable stay but again the hill was killer. The station was 20 minutes away or with a kid that doesn't want to sit in his stroller 30 lol. Very helpful staff. Only downside was the store staff helping with the luggage didn't speak English and she made us fill out the paperwork ourselves when the last 2 hotels did it for us."
